About the Work
How many loads does a new driver average per week?
New drivers average about 3 loads per week, depending on availability, route options, weather and dispatch planning.
How many miles are driven weekly?
Loaded miles average around 2,600 per week. Total driving can be around 5,600 miles per week, including deadhead and positioning miles.
Is there work all year or are there slow seasons?
We have work year-round. Winter can be slower, and drivers cannot operate when weather or road conditions are not safe.
What percentage of drivers exceed $4,000 weekly?
Drivers who stay focused and available for the work generally exceed $4,000 weekly. Results depend on availability, accepted loads, weather and operational factors.
Money and Deductions
Is the 18% deducted from gross revenue or after fuel?
The 18% is deducted from gross load revenue.
Are there other deductions besides the 18%?
Driver-caused damage deductions may apply. Damages under $5,000 are the driver's responsibility according to the agreement and claim review.
Do you charge ELD, plate, IFTA or administration fees?
No. We do not charge separate ELD, plate, IFTA or administration fees. Those items are included in the program rate.
Are there deposits or holdbacks when starting?
No. We do not require starting deposits or initial holdbacks.
Insurance
What coverage does the insurance include?
The program insurance includes liability and cargo coverage. It does not cover the truck/unit owned by the operator.
What is the deductible if an accident happens?
The deductible is $5,000 for any covered accident.
Does the insurance cover damage to the RV?
Yes, for covered damages above $5,000, subject to the policy, deductible and claim review.
Who pays if damage exceeds $5,000?
Insurance pays covered damages according to the policy. The operator is responsible for the $5,000 deductible.
Fuel Card
Is the fuel card an advance or a discount?
The fuel card is an assistance tool. Fuel used on the card is deducted from the weekly load payments.
Can I use it at any station?
No. The fuel card works only within the Pilot network.
Is there a weekly limit?
The current fuel card limit is $500 per day. Terms and conditions apply.
Loads and Dispatch
Can I choose my loads?
Yes. Dispatch will communicate available options before assigning a load.
Can I reject a load without a penalty?
Yes. Drivers may reject available loads.
Do I have to stay away from home for a certain number of days?
There is no fixed number of days listed, but drivers in the 18% option must produce at least $4,000 weekly. If that amount is not reached, a $375 weekly charge applies.
Payments and Contract
Can you show me a real driver settlement?
No. Driver settlement and income information is private and cannot be shared.
What deductions appear on the settlement?
The settlement shows loads, the selected program deduction, insurance deductions when applicable, diesel/fuel card use when applicable and any approved damage-related deductions.
Is there a long-term contract?
The contract is month to month. If you do not want to continue, you must notify us 15 days before the contract cutoff date.
Is there a penalty if I leave?
If the 15-day notice is completed properly, there is no penalty for leaving.
How many days of notice are required to end the contract?
A 15-day notice is required before ending the contract.
Program details are subject to final contract terms, document review, insurance approval and operational availability.

Required Equipment
All equipment must be installed correctly, maintained in good working condition and approved before activation.
Weight Distribution Hitch
Minimum capacity: 14,000 lbsA chainless weight distribution and stabilization system is required for travel trailer transportation.
Chains are not accepted.
Backup Battery
RequiredSome RV units require an external battery to operate the electric jack, brakes or other systems during pickup.
Full-Width Mud Flaps
Required for rear wheelsThe truck must have full-width mud flaps installed to help protect the RV from rocks, debris and road damage.
Installation may be available locally in Elkhart, Indiana.
Fifth Wheel Hitch
Minimum capacity: 16,000 lbsRequired for drivers who will transport fifth wheel RV units.

- Approved commercial insurance when applicable
- Must pass an annual DOT inspection before the first load is assigned

Driver Responsibility
Owner operators are responsible for safely transporting each RV, following inspection procedures and maintaining their truck and towing equipment.
